Q. WHICH HOME MOVING SERVICES DO I NEED?

A. If you are not sure which moving services you need, don’t worry, our easy online request form and call advisors will ask you the necessary questions to provide you with an accurate moving quote based on the moving service requirements.

Q. WHAT IF I NEED TO CHANGE MOVING DATE?

A. Our removals company aims to be as flexible as possible with all of our clients. If you need to move your scheduled home removal, please inform us as the soonest opportunity and we will accommodate this to the best of our ability. 

Q. WHEN SHOULD I BOOK HOME REMOVALS?

A. It’s always best to book as soon as possible to ensure you are able to secure your preferred moving date however we endeavour to accommodate all home movers where possible. General recommendation for our home removal services is 3 weeks in advance of moving day.

Q. WHEN DOES THE HOURLY CHARGE START?

A. Our hourly charge commences at the time our our home movers arrive at your property address and terminates as soon as the home removal is complete, subject to your requirements.

Q. IS INSURANCE INCLUDED WITH MOVING?

A. Our removals company is covered with liability insurance for all removal services. Unfortunately cover is not included for self packed items, our full service removals are fully insuranced where our movers are responsible for the packing and protection of all belongings.

Q. DO I NEED DISASSEMBLY SERVICES?

A. Disassembly of items is usually required when moving from flats due to the transporting large items through tight and communal areas or down several stairs. It is always safer to take them apart where possible. Of course you can perform disassembly yourself if preferred. Our request process will ask you which services you want us to assist with.

Q. CAN I CHANGE MY FLAT REMOVAL DATE?

A. If you need to change a scheduled flat removal, it’s best to inform us as soon as possible to allow us to accommodate this to the best of our ability. Where enough notice is provided this is never an issue for us.

Q. HOW SOON DO I BOOK FLAT MOVING SERVICE?

A. As soon as possible is best to be able to secure your selected moving date. Our removals company endeavour to accommodate all flat relocations where possible. To book our flat removal service, we recommend booking 3 weeks in advance of your moving date.

Q. ARE CANCELLATIONS CHARGEABLE?

A. Unfortunately we do apply a cancellation fee for flat removal cancellations with less than 72 hours’ notice. Any cancellations with more notice will be refunded in full if not rescheduled. 

Q. DO FLAT REMOVALS INCLUDE INSURANCE?

A. As a removals company we provide liability insurance for all of our removal services. Unfortunately however we do not cover items that are self packed. We do provide full insurance with our full service removals and our flat movers are responsible for the packing and protection of furniture and items.

Q. CAN I ADD SERVICES AFTER BOOKING?

A. Of course, our removals company aims for flexibility wherever possible. If after booking you decide you require additional services such as rubbish removal or cleaning services, you can contact your moving coordinator who can provide you with a discounted quote and incorporate it into your moving schedule.

Q. HOW SOON SHOULD I BOOK FULL SERVICE?

A. We always recommend to book full service moving at the soonest opportunity, this will allow removal companies to plan and prepare your move seamlessly. Our removals company can facilitate short notice full service moves though it is suggested to book 3 weeks in advance where possible. This will also allow you to secure your required moving date and time, removing additional stress on moving day.

Q. IS THERE MOVING AND CLEANING OPTIONS?

A. Yes certainly, our full service removals can include all of our removal services and professional cleaning services too. Cleaning services are carried out by Brilliant-Cleaner, who we partner with to provide moving and cleaning services. The full request will be managed and coordinated by us, to facilitate stress free moving services with an all in one moving company.

Q. ARE FULL SERVICE REMOVALS INSURED?

A. Yes, our full service removals are fully insured covering our full service moving from start to finish.

Q. ARE PACKING BOXES & SUPPLIES PROVIDED?

A. Typically our packing and moving quotes will include packing boxes and supplies as this is part of our service. If you would prefer to provide your own boxes and supplies, you can and there will be an option for this when requesting.

A. The recommendation is always to book as soon as possible to ensure you are able to secure your preferred packing and moving dates. Our removals company aims to be flexible and accommodate short notice moving requests too. General recommendation for our packing and moving services are 3 weeks in advance of your preferred date.

Q. CAN I ADD OTHER MOVING SERVICES?

A. Yes of course you can, you can select any of our moving services to request a combined all in one moving quote. Removal services include disassembling/reassembling of furniture, packing and unpacking of boxes, packing supplies, home organising, rubbish removal and professional cleaning services. A. Yes of course, our furniture movers can also provide packing supplies to safely wrap and pack your furniture and items. Request a quote for disassembling and packing supplies.

A. Yes, our removals company provides all home and office moving services including disassembly and reassembly services.

Q. ARE DISASSEMBLERS EQUIPPED?

Q. IS THERE A MINIMUM FEE FOR MAN AND VAN?

A. Yes, we have a minimum booking policy for man and van services of 3 hours. Please enquire for further details.

Q. WHAT CAN OUR “MAN AND VAN” PROVIDE?

A. Our man and van service offers disassembling, dismounting, home moving, rubbish removal and more.

Q. CAN MAN AND VAN REMOVE RUBBISH?

Q. WHEN DOES THE HOURLY CHARGE START?

A. Our man and van service is charged hourly, and time commences when our driver arrives at your property location and ceases upon completion of the assistance requested.

Q. CAN I TRAVEL IN THE REMOVAL VAN?

A. Unfortunately travelling in the removal van is not permitted with our man and van or any of our moving services.

Q. WHAT IF I NEED MORE THAN 1 REMOVAL VAN?

A. This is not a problem at all, our removals company can provide several removal vans if required. During your moving request this will be decided and you will be quoted accordingly. 

Q. WHEN SHOULD I BOOK LONG DISTANCE MOVING?

A. It’s always best to book long distance moving as soon as possible to ensure you are able to secure your preferred moving date however we endeavour to accommodate all long distance movers if possible. General recommendation for our moving services is 3 weeks in advance of moving day.

Q. HOW IS LONG DISTANCE MOVING CHARGED?

A. Our long distance removals are essentially charged hourly and commences at the time our movers arrive at your collection property location. Visit our pricing table above for rates and fees. Chargeable time will cease upon completion of all requested services – some quotes will incur time for part of movers return journey, this is subject to relocation distance.
